The Process of Getting the California Driving Permit

As a parent, having your child enroll in a Educational Course is a responsability. Continue reading to inform yourself what needs to be done from your part to help your child pass the course. We will layout everything you need to know as a parent.


The student must be at least 15 1/2 and under 18 years of age,
must have completed a CA State Approved Ed Course like ours (view full course page),
and have your DMV Certificate of completion to present the DMV when taking your DMV Permit test.

Must pass our course to receive certificate. While your child is taking our Driver's Ed Course, there will be access to our customer support (during business hours) and guidance to pass the DMV Test. The lessons include readings, videos, quizzes at the end of each lesson. Click "Course" at top/bottom of the page to view full course available.

After passing our course, we will ship out the Certificate of Completion which will be presented to the DMV when taking the Permit Test. Keep in mind the certificate should arrive between 5-7 business days. *Just to let you know, we can't email the certificate since the DMV makes it mandatory to present a physical certificate.

When the certificate has been delivered you can make an appointment with your closest DMV location. You must bring the certificate of completion with you to be able to take the DMV permit test. Be sure to take all the following to the DMV Appointment.
