Is this course up to date with all the DMV requirements?

This Drivers Ed course satisfies all DMV requirements. Any teenager located in the state of California can enroll for this course.

How much will I have to pay to get the permit certificate?

The only payment you have to make is the enrollment fee for $59 and once you complete the course we will ship your certificate for free. Our course is priced 50% less than other courses online.

Do you provide practice tests?

We provide you the right links for you to retake the test as many times needed. Head to the DMV – DMV link.

What’s the minimum age for me to take this course?

The minimum age to get your certificate of completion is between the ages of 15 ½ to 17 ½. Drivers Ed for anyone located in California.

Do I have to take the course at once?

You can take the course at your own pace. It’s up to you to work on the course. We recommend to schedule the program once a day for couple of hours.

How does the course work?

The course is divided into 10 lessons – contains reading material, videos, and a short quiz at the end of each lesson.

How do I pay for this course?

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

How is the course graded?

Our online course is graded on answer to multiple choice question. The questions are based on the material from the reading and video material.

Getting Started

How do I sign for the California Ed Course?

To get started you can sign up by heading to our enroll page at the top of our page. If you’d like to view our course first, head to ‘COURSE’ page

You can reset your password by going to the Login page to reset your password.

How long does the California Driver’s Ed take?

You can take as long as you want to finish the course. There’s no limit!
Students who already know the material has said to finish in a few hours. We suggest you give yourself 10 to 20 hours broken up into a few different days if you want to thoroughly review the material and understand all the rules and regulations.

Getting my Certificate

How long does it take to get my certificate?

We will mail out the certificate the same day or the next business day you finish the course. It takes 5-7 business days for you to receive your certificate via regular mail.

Can you email a copy of the certificate?

The DMV only access hard copies of the actual certificate. If we scan it and email to you, the DMV will not accept the certificate.

I haven’t received my certificate?

Please check to see if you’ve waited more than 7 business days from when you finished your course. If you haven’t received your certificate within that time period, send us an email. For any general inquiries please email us at info@mycaliforniadriverlicense.com.
